Czech Republic

Renowned source of the famous Moldavite tektite. The world’s only green meteoritic glass, this material is one of the oldest known minerals used for talismanic purposes. Two pieces of moldavite were found with the Venus of Willendorf, a 25,000 year old sculpture. Moldavite is beautiful as jewelry and is rich with historic and gemstone folklore.
